Read Romans 3
Think About It:
Romans 3 discusses the differences between Jews and Gentiles… The Jews were chosen to bring forth the oracles of God: the Torah, Psalms, and prophetic writings of the Old Testament. Both Jews and Gentiles were born into sin and need Jesus – neither is better than the other. It is the enemy that wants us to compare ourselves with others – of any sort. But when we keep our eyes on Jesus, to become more like Him, regardless of how everyone around us acts, we can be sure of His faithfulness to complete His plans for us. Spend time today thanking Him for making you unique in His eyes, with a plan that fits only you, to be used for His glory, for purposes beyond your greatest expectations. Give thanks for the gifts He has placed in you. May we all repent of ever comparing ourselves with others.
