This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.
Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.
Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

You've found an incredible group of men and women who love Jesus. I believe you may have found your spiritual home, a place where you can grow, rest, and serve. A place to be inspired and challenged. A place where you belong.
Gateway Church exists as an equipping center, training members for effective ministry. Our desire is to raise up spiritually confident believers who know their identity in Christ and are inspired toward dedication, sacrifice, and service. We aim to impart a sense of urgency and encourage every member to "pick up their cross" in service to the Lord.
As Pastor of Gateway, I welcome you. I invite you not only to a Sunday service, but to become part of a life-changing encounter with God, one that will bring greater meaning to your life and to your family.
Get to Know Pastor Josh
I was twelve when my father came to pastor Gateway. I never imagined God would one day call me back to the same church I grew up in. I love these people, it has always been a safe place and a home over the years.
At seventeen I started in youth ministry and spent fifteen years pouring into students. In 2019 I became a senior pastor for the first time in Osceola County before God opened the door to return home to Gateway in June 2024.
I'm blessed to be married to Amanda since 2009. Together we're raising six kids Emilea, Molly, Titus, Daniel, Noah, and Judah. Our home is loud, full of life, and covered in grace. I'm proud of each of them and can't wait to see what God does in and through their lives.
I still get excited about seeing people grow in their faith and take steps of obedience. I always look forward to Sunday mornings, but there's nothing I love more than watching someone discover who they are in Christ and decide to follow Him fully.

Gateway Family Worship & Outreach is a community church in a rural setting between Bay City and Midland. We're a church made up of people of all ages and walks of life who want to know Jesus, grow together, and live out our faith in a way that makes a difference.
