Read Proverbs 17
Think About It:
- In verse 3, what does God try? How does He do it?
- When you forgive someone, do you let it go? Or do you bring it up again? (verse 9)
- When a dam is open; it’s hard to stop. How like that are our quarrels?
Family Time:
This proverb talks a lot about relationships. There are three things concerning relationships:
- Our character: How we act and who we really are—reflected in our relationships (verses 4, 5, 7, 11, 15, 20, 21, 27).
- How can we create good relationships (verses 1, 2, 9, 14, 17, 22, 28)?
- How can we ruin relationships (verses 9, 13, 14, 19, 22, 23, 25, 26)?
- Read and think about/discuss.
