Read Psalm 32-33
Think About It:
- God wants to forgive sinners. Forgiveness is part of His loving nature. He showed it dramatically to the world through Jesus Christ. What aspects of God’s forgiveness are found in verses 1 and 2?
- How does David describe the way he feels when he has unconfessed sin in his life? How do you feel when you have unconfessed sin in your life?
- The Psalmist calls upon the righteous to rejoice in the Lord. Spurgeon said, “To rejoice in temporal comforts is dangerous, to rejoice in self is foolish, to rejoice in sin is fatal, but to rejoice in the Lord is heavenly.” What do you rejoice in?
- How does the psalmist instruct us to rejoice?
Family Time:
- Who is blessed? (32:1-2)
- How did the psalmist deal with his sins? (32:5)
- The word of the Lord is what? (33:4)
- How were the heavens made? (33:6-9)
- What nation is blessed? (33:12)
