Read I John 5
Think About It:
- How do you demonstrate your love for God?
- Are God’s commandments burdensome to you? Why or why not?
- How can we overcome the pressures and temptations of the world?
- How do we protect our relationship with God?
Family Time:
- Read verse 1 and talk about it. Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ (the promised one—the son of God)? Do you love God’s children?
- Read verse 4. What have we been given that overcomes the world?
- Verses 11-12 “…God has given us ____ ___, and this life is in ___ ___. He who has the Son has ____. He who does not have the Son does not ____ ____.”
- Read verse 13. May you grow in your faith and relationship with Jesus. He is life!
