Read Ezekiel 38
Think About It:
Israel belongs to God. He calls them His. When the hordes come against them to plunder and kill, God will step in in a terrible and awesome way. This will happen in the last days (see verses 8 and 16). Through this display of God’s amazing wrath and power He will rescue His chosen people and their land. He will show His greatness and His holiness, and many nations will finally recognize and know that He is the Lord!
- Who was with Gog that Ezekiel prophesied against? (verses 1-6)
- What will the Lord rain against Gog when they come against Israel? (verse 22)
Family Time:
- The beginning of this chapter sounds like good things were going to happen to Gog and Magog. They would build up a grand army. What would they do with this army? (verses 10-13)
- God says He will allow this army to come against His people. Why? (verse 16)
- How did God make Himself known by all the nations by allowing Israel to be attacked? (verses 18-23)
