Read Psalm 37
Think About It:
- Does it ever bother you when non-Christians seem to benefit in this life, whether by “having it easy” or being well-off? How do you find peace when considering this?
Family Time:
- David tells us to “delight in the Lord” (verse 4). To delight in someone is to take pleasure in the relationship with that person. How can you come to know God more closely so you can “delight” in Him?
- David then tells us to “commit your way to the Lord” (verse 5). Know with certainty that when you trust God with EVERYTHING you have: your time, your possessions, your relationships, your friends and families and your very life, He will care for you better than you can ever imagine! What do you still need to commit/trust to God? Do it now, don’t wait! 🙂
- What does the Lord do at the wicked? (verse 13). Why? What will happen to the wicked person who continues to ignore God? (verses 10, 15, 17, 20, 22, 28, and 32). Re-read verse 7! God wants good things for His believers!
