Read Deuteronomy 7
Think About It:
- God promised to destroy the Israelites’ enemies. Why did He do it gradually? Are you willing to trust God as He teaches you?
- The nation of Israel was the smallest among the nations, yet God chose them for Himself. Do you ever wonder why God has chosen you? He also said He will keep His promise to them for a THOUSAND generations. Can we trust His promise is true?
- What are some of the conditional blessings God gave to the Israelites? (If you do this, I will do that…)

- Name some of the ways God shows His love to His chosen people. There are several ways described in this chapter (see verses 9-15).
- What is something that would be a “snare” to the people if they were not careful (verse 16)?
