Read Numbers 24
Think About It:
- If someone was watching your reactions, would they know you believe God wants to bless you? Or would they think you are like them in thinking I shouldn’t have to deal with … ?
Family Time:
- Read verses 3 & 4 again. What name did Balaam call God in these verses?
- When he saw the vision of God and heard His voice, Balaam’s eyes were opened and he fell down. Why do you think He did this?
- Read verse 13. Balaam said he could not go beyond the word of the Lord and do his own will – even for a house full of silver and gold. Do you love Jesus more than the stuff that is in this world (toys, movies, money, popularity, etc.)?
- Do you see Jesus as the Almighty God?
Pray as a family that you would learn to love and obey the LORD more than anything else in this world – that He would be MOST precious to you.
