Read Revelation 7
Think About It:
- What made the 4 angels stop what they were about to do?
- What 2 groups are talked about in this chapter? Which group will you be in? Or will you?
- Who replaced the tribe of Dan in the list of tribes?
- What do white robes and palm branches symbolize?
- In verse 17, there is mention of a Shepherd and water. Can you think of a Psalm with those two things in it?
- Also, in verse 17, God does this the first time. What is it? (He does it again in Revelation 21:4.)
Family Time:
- This chapter is a continuation of the events described after the 6th seal of the scroll is opened by Jesus, the Lamb of God.
- How does the command in verse 3 demonstrate the goodness of God?
- How is the loving kindness of God demonstrated in verse 17?
- ASSIGNMENT 1: Look up all the Bible verses about being “sealed” by the Holy Spirit. Thank God for this and for the promise of what that means.
- ASSIGNMENT 2: Read Exodus 34:6. How is God described? Consider this as you read the book of Revelation.
