Read II Thessalonians 1
Think About It:
- Paul begins this letter with encouragement. What does he say they are doing right?
- In verses 11-12, Paul prays for the Thessalonians. What does he pray? Why is it good to pray this for each other today?
Family Time:
- Paul begins this second letter to the Thessalonian church with a blessing. “Grace and peace to you from God the Father and the Lord, Jesus Christ.” He affirms them for their faith and perseverance, then assures them of his prayers for them. What specifically did Paul pray for them? See verse 11. Why? See verse 12.
- Choose someone in your family and pray this same prayer over them.
- Choose someone in your church family and pray this same prayer over them.
