Read Acts 20
Think About It:
- What was the uproar about in this chapter? Before Paul said goodbye, what did he do to the disciples?
- How did Paul see himself in verse 24?
- After what happened in Ephesus in chapter 19, what does Paul tell the elders to do and what are the instructions? What was the last thing he did before he left them?
Family Time:
- What was the name of the man that sat in the window listening to Paul that fell into a deep sleep? (verses 7-10)
- How far did he fall out the window?
- The Christian life is not an easy road, it does not solve or remove all your problems. Paul served humbly and with tears, but never quit, never gave up. The message of salvation was so important that he never missed an opportunity to share it. He preached his message in different ways to fit different people, the message remained the same…turning away from sin and turning to Christ by faith. The Christian life will have its rough times, its tears, its sorrows, as well as its joys, but we should always be ready to tell others what good things God has done for us. His blessings far outweigh life’s difficulties. (verses 18-21)
