Think About It:
- After Jesus healed the man who had been at Bethesda (House of Mary) 38 years, where did Jesus later find the healed man?
- What are some reasons the man might have gone there?
- What did Jesus say in verses 19-20, and 30 that He is able to do?
Family Time:
- Jesus reveals himself in verses 24-29 as LIFE and as JUDGE. Those who hear His Word and believe in Him have been saved from death and have been given life. They will not come into judgement.
- Fill in the blanks. (verses 28-29) “Do not marvel at this: for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who do ________ , to the resurrection of ________, and those who have done ________ to the resurrection of ___________.”
*Note: Verse 29 does not mean that our good works can save us. But we do good works because we have righteousness from Jesus’ life working inside us and coming out of our lives!
