Read Ezekiel 46
Think About It:
So much detail about the temple, altar, gates, rooms, and how things were to be done. It’s hard to understand the significance of much of it. One thing I noticed in verse 9 was that the worshippers must not turn around and go out the same place where they came in (to avoid confusion, I suppose). Do you remember the cherubim in 10:11, each had four faces? They always went straight forward even though they could go in any of the four directions. They would always be facing forward without turning. This reveals an attitude of humility and honor toward the one leading. God always wants us to be one, joined in unity and that things be done decently and in order.
