Read Ezekiel 30
Think About It:
The prophecy in this chapter is about ‘the day of the Lord’ for Egypt and all of its allies. It was a time when they would be judged before God.
Have you noticed how often God says throughout the book of Ezekiel, “Then you will know that I am the Lord?” This is written about 70 times in Ezekiel. When God fulfills His prophetic word – the ones who experience it get revelation about God and it becomes a knowing. Then you will know who He is. God wants us to know Him!
- When the Lord sets a fire in Egypt, who else will be destroyed? (verse 8)
Family Time:
- Remember that God is sovereign and in charge of everything, even military might. Besides praying for your military and government leaders, pray that God’s greater purposes would be carried out and that His will would be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
