Read Jeremiah 32
Think About It:
- Jeremiah obeyed God and spoke all he was told to say. What was this message that resulted in the king throwing him into prison?
- In verses 6-15, God had Jeremiah buy a field from his cousin. This land was already under siege by the Babylonians and therefore was worthless by human perspective. What did buying this field represent in God’s perspective?
- Jeremiah prays. He begins with declaring, “There is nothing too hard for You.” God answers in verse 27. What was God’s response?
- Even while this siege is going on, God makes a promise to His people. What is this promise? (verses 42-44)
Family Time:
- Look up the song, “Nothing is Too Hard for You” from Jeremiah 32:17 by Kenny Clark.
