Read Isaiah 49
Think About It:
- After their land was invaded, Israel felt deserted by God. Do you ever feel like that when hard times come? Read on, God will never forsake us.
- What is your divine purpose or what have you been appointed to do? Can you do it even if it means suffering? Does it help to remember that, “all shall know that I am the LORD, your Savior, your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob”?
Family Time:
- What do God’s people say that the LORD has done in verse 14? Can you remember things that had happened to make them feel this way?
- In verses 15-26, God tells them how important they are to Him. Read through these verses together and try to find all the ways God has not forgotten His people.
