Think About It:
- Why do you believe some prayers aren’t answered? Could verse 3, be it? How should we ask?
- If we take the following actions: submit, resist, draw nigh, cleanse, purify (separate from the world), be afflicted, mourn, weep, and the big “H” word, humble ourselves, what does God do?
- What makes us think we can judge others? Who is the one and only lawgiver and judge?
Family Time:
- Give an example of a prideful person. Pride keep us from a healthy relationship with God and others. How do you get pride out of your life?
- What does the Bible say about judging your brother? (verse 11)
