Read James 3
Think About It:
- This chapter talks about how important our words are. How is this especially important concerning teachers?
- James uses two examples of how much damage our words can do. What are they? (verses 3-6)
- Describe God’s wisdom in verse 17. How does it differ from man’s wisdom?
Family Time:
- Did you know that you will be judged for every word that comes out of your mouth? We all will!
- Do you speak good things—words that produce life? Reminds me of the famous line by Thumper in Disney’s Bambi… “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”
