Think About It:
- What is a bishop?
- What are the qualifications of a bishop?
Family Time:
- God is very wise and knows the way to order things in the church body. This chapter gives some instructions to those who want to help lead the church. Bishops are men who help to oversee and watch over people in the church. Deacons are men who serve in the church, or one who runs errands, or serves food and drink ,etc. (Strong’s concordance)
- Read through the lists of qualifications and talk over them.
- We see that the Lord truly does care about who we put into authority. Take a couple minutes to ask the Lord to help us to choose leaders according to HIS word, and also to pray for those who are in authority, that they would walk pleasing to the Lord.
