Read Luke 24
Think About It:
- Like the two disciples who walked with Jesus on the road to Emmaus, we often miss who Jesus really is and what He is doing around us. They were so focused on His death that they completely missed that He was alive and there with them. Where is your focus?
- Verse 45 is a scripture that we need to pray over ourselves and others. Reread this verse and include it in your prayer time.
Family Time:
- What was in the tomb when the women went there? (verse 3)
- Prophets had spoken that Jesus would rise again. Did the apostles believe that 100%? (verse 25) God’s Word is always true. We can always believe it. Sometimes He gives a word to men and women – His prophets. Maybe you will be used as one of God’s prophets! Guard your heart, keep your mind on Him and pray for that gift. God uses kids too!!
- Do you ever have trouble understanding the Bible? Read verse 45. God will do this for you too. He wants you to understand the Bible. Pray for understanding and believe. He will give it to you
- Where did Jesus go when He was done talking with the apostles? (verse 51)
