Read Amos 6
Think About It:
- How did the sinful easeof God’s people show itself? Can it be seen in the life of the church today? Can it be seen in your life?
- “Amos prophesied during a time of economic prosperity in Israel, and the successful in Israel used that prosperity for pure self-indulgence. When God makes us prosperous, we have an absolute obligation to use what He gives us in a way that glorifies Him, not pampers ourselves” (David Guzik).
