Read Daniel 8
Think About It:
Each event described in this chapter had been fulfilled a long time ago, but verses 17 and 23 indicates that the vision may also refer to the end times and the anti-Christ.
This vision is so awful that Daniel was sick for days afterwards. But then he “arose and went about the king’s business” (verse 27).
We also need to know that a time of lawlessness and evil is coming (see 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12), but our focus needs to be on accomplishing King Jesus’ business—winning the world to Christ and growing the church.
Family Time:
- How many horns did the ram have? What did they symbolize?
- Who is the “host of heaven,” possibly?
- The evil one is operating under the influence of who or what?
