Read Ezekiel 22
Think About It:
Israel was full of wicked leaders, including kings, princes, and priests. There was willful disobedience to God’s covenant by the rulers and the common people. It wasn’t just their past sins; it was their daily way of life.
- What object lesson did the Lord use in this chapter to show how He was going to pour out His fury on Jerusalem? (verses 18-22)
- What did the priests fail to teach? (verse 26)
- What motivated the princes? (verse 27)
- What was the Lord looking for in Israel but could not find? (verse 30)
Family Time:
- What had their terrible sins done?
- How does God pour out His fire on them?
- Their land and wealth are gone, what is the only thing they have left?
- What was the reason for the famine?
