Read Ezekiel 15
Think About It:
- This word from Ezekiel talks about the value of the vine, which is not a new concept for the children of God. What is the value of a grape vine if there is no fruit on it? What is the message to Israel?
- It wasn’t only the sin of Israel that brought God’s judgment, but their persistent They wouldn’t stop their idolatry and wickedness. Have you heard any prophets speaking to America today? What are they saying? Are we guilty of persistent, unrepented sin?
Family Time:
- What kind of fruit are you bearing? This is a serious issue. Reading other people’s thoughts on this is intriguing but KNOWING what God thinks is terrifying. “So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits” (Matthew 7:17-20).
