Read Jeremiah 33
Think About It:
- Where was Jeremiah when he received the prophecy messages of destruction, future and eternal restoration and eternal covenant with Israel? Need proof that God can go anywhere? Here it is. God is not limited by physical barriers, time or space!
- What was in God’s heart? (verses 6-13). After destruction and punishment, comes the healing.
- The LORD always keeps His promises. (verse 14). The restored Jerusalem has a new name. What is it? Is He yours?
- When can God break His covenants with David? When He breaks His covenant with the sun, moon and stars; day and night; seasons—NEVER!
Family Time:
- If we call to God through prayer – or through living our life with Him always first, what will He do? (verse 3)
- God spoke these words to Jeremiah while he was in prison. How do you think this message from God helped Jeremiah?
