Read Isaiah 53
Think About It:
- What is the arm of the LORD in verse 1?
- Doesn’t verse 4 bother you? The part where Jesus comes to give us eternal life, He gives His life for us to have fulfilled lives and eternal life…then we treat Him as though He has been “violently struck down,” as though this was not a plan of our Heavenly Father.
- What word does verse 5 start with? Why is that important and exciting?
- Jesus could see the fruit of His willingness to die for our sins. What action can you do today for God and believe He is going to bring life-change out of it?
Family Time:
- This chapter prophesy’s whose sufferings?
- For what was he wounded? (verses 5,8)
- What did he do for the transgressors? (verse 12)
