Read Isaiah 25
Think About It:
- The flesh can overwhelm us. I find that the news can cause me to be fearful or angry or any other emotion that goes with the flesh. If we rise above that, we can remember His purposes will come to pass—through any number of politicizing, sicknesses, wars, etc. What are some of the things God is doing through each of these “seemingly” terrible things?
- What is His ultimate purpose for us?
- Will anyone truly succeed outside of or even against the LORD and His people?
Family Time:
- Is there anyone who has never cried?
- The Bible talks about tears and tells us that God “will wipe away tears from off all faces” (25:8). Usually when we cry, we want to be comforted. No matter what happens to us we must remember God’s great love and be comforted by that. We are reminded that God loves each one of us with a love that will last forever.
- Did you know that our tiny tears are made up of mostly salt and water, similar to water in the oceans? God created both. Let the beauty of God’s creation and his great love comfort you.
