Read Isaiah 14
Think About It:
- How many times do you think Israel has failed God at this point? Yet, what does He say to them in the first verse? How does this affect how God looks at your life?
- Why is “Sheol” (Hell) excited about the King of Babylon coming?
- How does this compare with Satan’s destiny?
“God wants us to know now that Satan is destined for hell. He isn’t a winner, he is a loser, and he certainly isn’t the boss or LORD of hell. Satan will go to hell as a victim, as the ultimate prisoner in the dungeon of darkness and hell will be happy to receive him this way!”
- What type of purposes does verse 27 speak about?
Family Time:
- Upon whom will the LORD have mercy? (verse 1)
- Into what will the LORD make Babylon? (verse 22-23)
