Read Isaiah 8
Think About It:
- Who are the faithful witnesses in verse 2? Could God choose you as a faithful witness? Be willing to be used by God however He chooses.
- It is easy to watch what is going on in our world and be afraid. We need to choose to care more about what God says than people. Whom does verse 13 say we should fear more?
- In verse 19, who are the Israelites seeking help from? Don’t we see this same thing today?
Family Time:
- What country was going to invade the land? (verse 4)
- What did Isaiah do during this bad time? (verses 16-18)
- Can you think of other times in the Bible when things were really bad and God’s people trusted Him no matter what?
