Think About It:
The conclusion of this book finds the Shulamite returning to her home and her shepherd. She hasn’t forgotten her love for the shepherd or her pledge to be his forever. She anxiously awaits the celebration of love in marriage.
- Will you be as faithful to the LORD while you wait for the marriage supper? Do you have the seal that shows His ownership and authority over you?
- She couldn’t be tempted by all the king had to offer. What would you exchange for the love of Christ?
Family Time:
- As the book of Song of Solomon ends, their love for one another matures…or grows stronger. Do you work on your love for God and watch it mature? True love cannot be quenched, rivers cannot wash it away.
