Read Proverbs 23
Think About It:
- Have you been deceived by those in power or by the desire for more money? This Proverb speaks of wisdom in dealing with the rich rulers and the evil, ungenerous man as well.
- Proverbs has addressed laziness several times, but what does verses 4-5 say about work? We must work if we want to eat, but have you made your job an idol?
- What can happen if we fail to correct our children? Give an example.
