Read Proverbs 22
Think About It:
- What blessings come to those who fear the Lord (verse 4)? What comes to those who don’t (verse 5)?
- What problems does a scoffer cause?
- What excuse does a lazy man use why he cannot work (verse 13)? Give examples in which people today sometimes make excuses that are just as foolish. Have you ever made excuses for not doing something, when in reality you were just too lazy to do it?
Family Time:
- What is to be chosen rather than great riches? (verse 1)
- Why should we train up a child in the way that he should go? (verse 6)
- Who shall be blessed? (verse 9)
- What drives foolishness from a child? (verse 15)
- With whom should you not make friendship? (verses 24-25)
