Read Psalm 112-113
Think About It:
Psalm 112
- This Psalm lists many good things that come to those who serve God. But we must not hoard His blessings, we must be generous. Do you share your blessings freely?
- We will all receive bad news at some time in our lives, but we do not need to be shaken by it. Keep trusting God. You can hold on to Him and have peace in your soul even in bad times.
Psalm 113
- How long should we praise God? (verse 3)
- God cares for and provides for the poor. He meets our greatest needs. Let Him do this for you.
Family Time:
- In Psalm 112, consider all the listed blessings and promised attributes God works into those who fear Him.
- Ask God to help you rightly fear Him and transform you.
- Psalm 113:3 tells us the Lord’s name is to be praised. How do you use God’s name?
