Read Job 34
Think About It:
- What did Elihu say about God in verses 10-12? How did this contrast with Job’s statements? (Think: To what extent is Elihu correct?)
- What does Elihu say in verses 31-33 regarding suffering? How would this apply in the context of the discussion regarding Job’s suffering? (Think: Is this a proper application to Job?)
Family Time:
- Job thinks that God is punishing him because of his suffering, but maintains he lives a righteous life. What does Elihu remind Job about God in verse 10? In verse 11 and 12? In verse 21? Do you believe this is still true? Why or why not?
