Read Job 24
Think About It:
- Job argues that we do not see immediate justice in the lives of the righteous nor the unrighteous, discrediting the comments made by his friends supposing Job needs to repent. We often think we can figure things out with our human understanding, but not always. That is why it is best to talk to the LORD about the things we face and see others facing. Only He has a clear understanding of the big picture and what is going on in the hearts of people. This chapter reminds me to share openly with God when I lack understanding. I often find Him speaking to my heart in response to my questions when I take the time to seek Him first.
