Read Job 18
Think About It:
- Do you surround yourself with people who only speak positively into your life, whether it is good for you or not?
- Do you also surround yourself with Godly people who will speak truth to you, even if it’s difficult to hear? Think about who you have surrounded yourself with, and if you need to make any changes.
Family Time:
- Bildad used to be one of Job’s friends. In this chapter he tells Job to stop complaining and be sensible. He then lists things that happen to people that do not know God. Do you think that Bildad is trying to say that Job doesn’t know God because of his trials?
- Who should Job always listen to?
- It is important that we do not behave like Bildad and think we know things we do not. Have you ever acted like Bildad?
