Read Job 2
Think About It:
- Would you be quick to assume that if something bad happened, that you sinned as Job’s wife assumed of Job? Or, would you hold fast to confidence in your integrity?
- Are you as willing, as Job, to take the good with the bad? Remember that God might be building your character or teaching you something through these situations. In Job’s situation, He was using Job as an example to Satan and all of us of what a righteous man Job was.
Family Time:
- Based on all that Job’s friends do to comfort him, are they close friends who care about him? Have you ever sat with a friend for 7 days while they grieved?
