Think About It:
The shortest reign of any king of Judah. King Ahaziah’s reign reads like an evil soap opera. An evil mother, his counselors had been counselors to evil king Ahab of Israel, best friends with Ahab’s son Jehoriam, joined Jehoram in war against Syria and then again against Jehu. This cost him his life. When he died, his mother destroyed all the royal heirs of the house of Judah and she reigned over the land for 7 years.
