Think About It:
- Asa made a bad choice trusting the king of Aram rather than God. Hanani, the prophet, was sent to Asa with a message of woe. Instead of heeding the message, he threw Hanani in jail. How do you react when someone tells you about your behavior?
- What is the result of heeding a warning? Or not heeding it? (verse 9)

- Asa paid the King of Syria to break his treaty with Baasha (verses 1-4). Why did this make God turn from Asa? (verses 7-8)
- What will be the outcome for Asa and his reign because of his foolishness? (verse 9)
