Think About It:

1. Why did Ziba lie to King David that Mephibosheth was in Jerusalem, waiting to come to power after David and Absalom ruined each other?
2. When David was at a weak point, the enemy strategically used people to speak against his ability as a leader. Has the enemy used others, maybe even people you trusted, to speak discouraging words that brought doubt in what God has called you to accomplish?
3. David handled all this adversity with humility. How do you deal with this kind of adversity?
