Think About It:

1. What did God promise to the people and Joshua?
2. Moses read the Lord’s book of the instructions to the people of Israel. Where was the book kept? When was it read? Why? (Verse 13) Should this prompt us to read God’s Word?
3. What did Moses know about the people of Israel?

God directed Moses to write down a song and then to teach it to the people. Music can be a part of learning about God, praising God, and even praying to God.

1. Discuss how music is used in your family. What are your favorite songs? Do you sing and worship God together as a family?
