Read Deuteronomy 14
Think About It:
- God is very specific in His details for food choices. Is He just being picky or is His love for you His real motive?
- Verses 22-29 are an expansion of some commands we have already studied. List those that you remember and where they are found.
Family Time:
- This chapter begins by listing animals that the Israelites could and could not eat. Many of these restrictions were lifted in the New Testament. Which animals in the off-limits list do we now commonly eat, and which do we still generally not eat?
- We usually think of tithing as giving money. What did the Israelites tithe?
