Read Numbers 12
Think About It:
- What excuse did Aaron and Miriam use to speak against Moses? What was the “real” reason?
- God dealt quickly with Aaron and Miriam by calling them to the tent of meeting. How would it/does it feel to know God found you out? (Kind of like a call to the woodshed!)
- Did Miriam’s punishment fit the crime? Miriam was healed from what?

Miriam said some things that angered God. He punished her. Read again about that punishment.
- What do you think Miriam was feeling when God punished her? How would you feel?
- She was speaking against Moses when God punished her, yet Moses pleaded for God to heal her and was not angry with her. Can you think of a time when someone wronged you? How did you react? Was there a better way for you to react to this person?
