Read Exodus 12
Think About It:
- What do you see in God’s character when you look at all the specific details related to this event?
- Put yourself in the place of the Israelites, what would your mind be processing as you waited for morning?
Family Time:
- In verse 12, God says that he will bring judgement on all the gods of Egypt when he strikes down every firstborn male. What do you think God means by saying this?
- Do you think any Egyptian firstborns were saved (by asking to stay in the home of an Israelite)?
- In verse 31, Pharaoh tells Moses and Aaron to take the Israelites and leave. Why did he finally change his mind about letting them leave?
