Read Genesis 15
Think About It:
- The Lord spoke to Abram in a vision. Why did this vision seem impossible? What made Abram right with the Lord?
- After a night of terrible dreams, what did God’s covenant with Abraham provide? (A covenant is a promise.)
Family Time:
Read Genesis, chapter 15 together as a family. Discuss the following questions and work on the memory verse together.
Memory Verse: Genesis 15:6-7 – older children
Genesis 15:6 – younger children
God made a covenant with Abram.
- As a family look up the meaning of the word covenant and discuss what a covenant is.
- Have you ever made a covenant with someone in your family? How is that like or unlike the covenant that Abram and God made with each other?
