- What does this chapter tell you about Abram’s relationship with God?
- What was the reason that Abram lied? How did God deal with Abram’s sin?
- Have you ever concealed a truth? Why?
- What covenant did God make with Abram?

- Do you think it was easy or difficult to follow the directions of God? How much work do you think it was for Abram to move everything?
- What do you think a famine is and what would it be like to live through one?

Draw a picture of what Abram’s home must have been like when he finally “pitched his tent” (verse 8).
