Read Genesis 8

Think About It:

1. What are your thoughts on what Noah’s (and his family’s) daily routine would look like?
2. Where did the animals come from for the offering?
3. What is a covenant? What covenant did God make with Noah?

Family Time:

Memory Verses: Genesis 20-22 – older children

Genesis 22 – younger children

1. How do you think the people in the Ark were feeling after so long a wait? How about the animals?
2. Reread verse 22. Discuss what God might mean by this promise. How does this promise show God’s great love for us and His forgiveness for our sinfulness?

Activities:

1. Draw what you think the Ark may have looked like inside.
2. See if you can make a list of all the kinds of animals that were inside the Ark. Who in your family can come up with the longest list?
